Atelier opens its doors
One of the main highlights of the year was the creation of the new Atelier, formerly known as the Showroom, at our head office in Eschweiler. “Planning and designing the new Atelier was a real centrepiece of 2025 for us,” says managing director Steve Jans. “So much time and energy was invested in this project, not just by me but by the whole team.”
The aim of the Atelier is to allow us to address the wishes and requirements of our customers in an even more individual manner. Using a range of different samples, we can combine all manner of materials, colours and shapes in the way our customers want. This allows them to experience first-hand the spaces of their dreams – all in the unique JANS design language the Atelier symbolises.
Everything from a single source – now including metal
Another area of progress at JANS was in acquiring the operations of a metalwork company with its six employees. The expertise acquired in the areas of steel construction, railings, stairs, metalwork and metal engineering is extremely valuable to JANS and lends even greater weight to the term “single source.”
“At JANS we always want to be moving forward so that we can offer our customers an even broader and more exclusive range of products,” says Steve Jans. “That’s why I was so delighted to see us expand in the area of metal construction in 2025 and gain such valuable know-how.”
From now on, we can also offer our customers our own metal staircases and railings, allowing us to provide even more personalised solutions tailored to their specific living needs.
Long-term digitalisation project
One laborious but important task we have also taken on in 2025 is the digitalisation of internal processes and workflows and the linking of all JANS trades. The vision behind this project was to synchronise all of the different works at JANS with a single click, giving employees flexible access to all the information they need – from initial contact with the customer all the way through to invoicing.
It turned out to be a complex job, but the effort paid off as the benefits are now clear for all to see: time savings, increased productivity, an enhanced flow of information and more efficient scheduling. These are aspects that both our customers and our employees can profit from.
Years of loyalty
One of the most celebratory events of 2025 took place in September. All eyes were on our longest-serving employees, whom we honoured with a special dinner and party. With Claude Jans, Steve Jans, members of the management board and all regional managers in attendance, all of the invited guests were presented with a special watch as a token of gratitude. The JANS employees who have now taken well-earned retirement also received a travel voucher. Some 26 employees were invited to the event, including eight who have been part of the JANS family for 20 years and two who have contributed to JANS’ success for three whole decades.
This long-standing commitment from so many employees fills us with joy and gratitude. It once again reminds us of the value of each individual and of how indispensable their constant and reliable dedication truly is. For this, we say THANK YOU.
