After a remarkable redesign, this old farmhouse shines anew. It is characterised by its rustic and unique character and tells the long history of a workhouse. It was originally built by using traditional and natural materials, which have now been complemented by some contemporary additions.
By harmoniously blending the old and new structures, the property now comprises the in-house distillery, the main house, and a cosy holiday flat for guests.

Traditional furniture, such as the classic bathtub and the antique fireplace, have been thoughtfully placed in the rooms. They not only pay tribute to its historical significance, but also create a focal point that emphasises the special charm of this building.
A fire destroyed some of the building's structures, including the old wooden beamed ceiling. Those were recreated during the renovation work, based on the original. The new wooden beams blend effortlessly into the rustic ambience of the house. Artworks from Luxembourg have been lovingly combined with souvenirs from various trips, giving the home a very personal touch.
In the former old barn, the establishment of an in-house distillery has created a space that now welcomes guests and offers tastings in an old-world charm. The authentic stone floor adds the finishing touch to the atmospheric ambiance.
