To strengthen our young and experienced team, JANS énergies plus is hiring a heating and plumbing service technician (heating engineer / dépanneur), starting now, based in Eschweiler in the north of Luxembourg.
Your day: an annual service in a residential building, a broken-down boiler at a customer’s home, a control system that needs adjusting. You find the fault, fix it and explain to the customer what you did. And when a job gets tricky, you’re never on your own: your colleagues and managers are there to help.

Within the group, JANS énergies plus takes care of heating and plumbing: installing, servicing and repairing, so our customers have heating and hot water all year round. YOUR TASKS:
You independently handle small and large service jobs across Luxembourg: in single-family homes, apartments and large residential buildings, as well as on industrial installations.
You find faults and get heating systems (gas, oil, heat pumps, pellets and wood) and plumbing back up and running.
You commission, set up and optimise control and regulation systems.
You carry out maintenance and repairs – and keep track of every installation.
You advise customers on site and answer their technical questions in plain words.
You take part in the on-call service according to a coordinated schedule.
YOUR PROFILE:
You are a qualified heating and plumbing installer (Luxembourg DAP/CATP installateur chauffage-sanitaire, German Anlagenmechaniker SHK or Belgian/French equivalent). A diploma recognised in Luxembourg is an advantage.
Ideally, you already have experience in breakdown or after-sales service.
You have basic knowledge of electrics and controls.
You hold a gas and/or oil inspector card (carte de contrôleur gaz/fioul)? That’s a plus. If not, we’ll support you in getting it.
You enjoy working with customers.
You’re happy to lend your colleagues a hand.
You have a category B driving licence.
You speak French and/or German; Luxembourgish is a plus.
