Turnkey semi-detached house Selscheid

This modern and lovingly designed semi with a view of the countryside has been built in the peaceful village of Selscheid, not far from Wiltz. The turnkey, timber-frame property covers a total area of 230m2 on three floors. Using wood to build this very special house offers numerous advantages, which include a good thermal insulation, heat protection and good sound insulation. These characteristics, plus wood’s durability, sustainability and resistance make it an ideal building material.

At first sight, the house appears compact, but is in fact very spacious and its interior and exterior offer lots of room for comfortable and enjoyable living. Outdoor stairs lead from the two-car garage and parking area in front of the house to the extensive, unfenced garden that contains lots of grass and an additional, ground level patio.

The lower area of the house – on the same level as the outdoor patio – contains the modern, open-plan live-in kitchen with a bar and sophisticated dining area, which is ‘covered’ by elegant and decorative wooden beams – a genuine highlight. Warm, earthy colours and bright light from multiple ceiling spots create a welcoming room atmosphere.

An elegant wood staircase with indirect lighting leads to the ground floor and the bedroom, dressing area and bathroom. Large panorama windows provide a wonderful view of the surrounding greenery and transform the sleeping area into a haven of peace. The adjoining, clear-lined bathroom with a central double washbasin is designed in an elegant, grey colour scheme, contributing further to the sense of calm and relaxation.

The top floor impresses with more light-flooded rooms and provides space for an office area, two bedrooms and an additional bathroom. High-quality materials, clear structures and spaciousness continue the harmonious overall effect.
