In 2024, a new residential area was completed in Redange in which JANS played a pivotal role. Ground was broken on our Pretty Green project on the outskirts of the quiet little town in May 2022.
The multi-family dwelling is part of a small residential community featuring 11 high-quality buildings, all of which were proudly constructed by JANS in collaboration with architects Thillens & Thillens and Studio Concept.
The adjectives used in the project’s name couldn’t be more apt. The clear lines, spacious rooms, organic materials and generous glazing all combine to create a unique aesthetic and atmosphere. “Everyone who steps into the house has the same sense of comfort,” says Didier Lejeune, who is responsible for real estate at JANS. Buildings and properties are Lejeune’s daily bread and, in his eyes, Pretty Green really makes an impression.
Wood panelling and the darkened, contrasting banister with recessed LED lighting reflect the skills and experience of JANS’ expert tradespeople. Pretty Green is an expression of their love of precision, perfection and passion for the trade.
Clear views of the surrounding countryside as well as the building’s location next to the Natura 2000 conservation area make Pretty Green an oasis of calm and relaxation. With Redange and its facilities, shops and infrastructure just a stone’s throw away, the location really is what makes Pretty Green stand out. Rewilding of nearby waterways has also attracted countless species of flora and fauna to the area. “It’s so unique here,” Lejeune says. “Despite being close to the town centre, you still have peace and quiet as well as the joys of the adjacent conservation area.”
Featuring a façade that has been kept in natural tones and an otherwise unassuming architectural style, Pretty Green fits in perfectly with its natural surroundings. At JANS, we know the value of this aspect just as much as stylish design and a high-quality finish.
